Background

Nachda Punjab is a small bhangra group that was formed about a year ago. This certain group was formley known as putt jattan de.....but then changed to Nachda Punjab, since a certain person jointed the group.

The group first began with two people, Sunny Khaira and Amandeep Gill. They both met at punjabi school, and shared common interests, bhangra for example. They did their first performance at a vasakhi show on April/3/2000. Later on Sunny introuduced his cousins, Sanny Mangat and Jasdeep Mangat to the group, .After a few months of practice the group became solid and started to perform at special ocassions and parties. This young group of talent is presented by KHAIRA ENTERTAINERS LTD. the owner of this company is also Sunnys dad. They have made many punjabi programs, like the Nakhra 96,97 show, and many other mela. Sunnys cousin, Dharmjit, is the owner of Newtek music an Planet Records, (the whole family is in the music industry).
